In June and July, Holy Family will have a youth choir for those entering 1st-12th grade. Participants will make friends, strengthen their musical skills, and deepen their faith. They will be given different responsibilities based on their age and level of experience.
There will be 6 rehearsals and 6 Masses. Rehearsals will consist of learning music, prayer, and games. They will take place on the following Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the church and Enright Hall:
June 5th and 12th, and July 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.
The choir will sing at the following Sunday 9:00 a.m. Masses: June 9th and 16th, and July 7th 14th, 21st, and 28th.

The treasure of sacred music is to be preserved and fostered with great care. Choirs must be diligently promoted, especially in cathedral churches; but bishops and other pastors of souls must be at pains to ensure that, whenever the sacred action is to be celebrated with song, the whole body of the faithful may be able to contribute that active participation which is rightly theirs, as laid down in Art. (CCC 114).
